NeoReader is designed around local document processing. The Ubuntu desktop application does not require camera or contacts access for its normal open, annotate, export and OCR workflow.
We intend to use coarse website and download analytics to understand product usage, such as release version, operating system and approximate country or region. We do not intend to use download analytics to store names, document contents or device identifiers.
Information required to issue and support a licence may be processed separately through the licence request and sales workflow. The final policy will describe that data and retention before paid ordering opens.
